Surgery
     Depending on the type of cancer, surgery is the most common treatment for most cancers. This is a situation where by a patient is operated upon, and the localized tumor this taken out.
 
Chemotherapy
     Chemotherapy uses anticancer drugs to kill cancer cells. The drugs enter the blood stream and can affect cancer cells all over the body. Anti cancer drugs are given either by mouth or through the vein in most cases.
 
Radiation Therapy
      Radiation therapy, also called radiotherapy, uses high energy radiation rays to kill cancer cells. Radiation therapy affects cells only in the treatment area.  Different types of radiation are used to treat different types of cancer. Sometimes a certain cancer may require two types.
